These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Bestari Hub website and your participation in any of our financial education programmes. Please read them carefully. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, please reach out to us before proceeding.
1. Definitions
- "Bestari Hub", "We", "Us", "Our" — refers to Bestari Hub, operating at 2 Jalan Transfer, 10050 George Town, Penang.
- "Service" — any educational session, course, or programme offered by Bestari Hub.
- "User", "You", "Your" — any individual who visits our website or participates in our services.
- "Content" — all educational materials, worksheets, tools, and resources provided as part of our programmes.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions as a whole.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or enrolling in any Bestari Hub programme, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- You accept these Terms and Conditions in full
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
3. Service Description
Bestari Hub provides financial education services for adults, particularly those aged 40 and above. Our current offerings include:
- Business Owner Personal Finance Session — two-session engagement addressing business-personal finance separation (RM 730)
- Retirement Healthcare Deep-Dive Course — four-session course on healthcare financial planning (RM 1,800)
- Flourishing Fifties Programme — seven-session programme for individuals in their 50s (RM 3,400)
All sessions are conducted by Bestari Hub facilitators in English. Programmes are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to adjust programme content, format, or delivery method with reasonable notice.
4. Enrolment and Registration
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an agreed deposit
- You will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days of enrolment
- Session scheduling is agreed mutually at the time of enrolment
- Bestari Hub reserves the right to decline enrolment at its reasonable discretion
- Programme materials are provided digitally or in print at the first session
5. Payment Terms
- All fees are quoted and charged in Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
- Payment is due upon confirmation of enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, online transfer, and agreed digital payment platforms
- Receipts will be issued for all payments received
- Pricing is subject to change; any changes will not affect already-confirmed enrolments
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation by participant: Written notice to [email protected] required
- Cancellation more than 14 days before first session: full refund less a 10% administrative fee
- Cancellation between 7–14 days before first session: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 7 days before first session: no refund, but session credit may be offered
- Cancellation by Bestari Hub: Full refund will be issued if we cancel for reasons within our control. We will endeavour to reschedule where possible.
- No refund is applicable for sessions already attended
7. Rescheduling
- You may request to reschedule an individual session with at least 48 hours' notice
- Rescheduling is subject to facilitator availability and confirmed in writing
- Repeated rescheduling (more than twice per programme) may incur a rescheduling fee of RM 50 per occurrence
- Sessions not attended without notice may be forfeited
8. User Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
- Attend sessions punctually and come prepared where preparation is requested
- Treat facilitators and any co-participants with respect
- Use programme content for personal learning only — not for commercial redistribution
- Provide accurate personal information during enrolment
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your contact details
9. Intellectual Property
All materials, worksheets, frameworks, models, and content provided by Bestari Hub are the intellectual property of Bestari Hub. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use these materials for your own educational purposes. You may not:
- Reproduce, copy, or distribute any materials without written permission
- Use any Bestari Hub content for commercial training or consultancy purposes
- Share login credentials or digital materials with third parties
10. Educational Disclaimer
All content delivered by Bestari Hub is educational in nature and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Our programmes are designed to help you build knowledge and ask better questions — not to replace the professional advice of a licensed financial planner, accountant, or legal adviser. We encourage you to consult qualified professionals before making any major financial decisions.
Outcomes from programme participation depend on individual circumstances and actions taken. No specific financial result is promised or implied by participation in any Bestari Hub programme.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Bestari Hub is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from participation in our programmes or use of our website
- Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant programme
- We are not responsible for decisions you make based on educational content provided
12. Confidentiality
You may share personal financial information during our sessions for educational purposes. Bestari Hub treats all participant information with discretion and will not disclose your personal financial details to third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent. 13. Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to access restricted areas of the website
- Use the website to distribute malware or harmful content
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our website's operation
We reserve the right to restrict access to any user who violates these terms.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate a programme enrolment in accordance with the cancellation terms set out in Section 6. Bestari Hub reserves the right to terminate participation of any individual whose conduct is disrespectful, disruptive, or in breach of these terms. In such cases, refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at our reasonable discretion.
15. Dispute Resolution
We encourage open communication to resolve any concerns. If a dispute arises:

- We will respond within 10 business days to work toward an amicable resolution
- If unresolved, the matter may be referred to mediation before any legal proceedings
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Penang, Malaysia.

- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Bestari Hub for the services described
- Severability: If any clause is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in effect
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that right
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent
